GURU說故事(三)   ….摘錄自「啟世錄」1992馬來西亞出版
『復仇的劍客』
有一個劍客，從小被他的師父養大，也學成了十八般武藝，他的師父要他去找殺父殺母的仇人報仇，並把他的悽慘身世告訴了他。
        結果，這個劍客不斷的去追殺仇家，當他殺死了大部份的仇家之後，在最後一個仇人口中，這個劍客才得知，整件事情有很大的誤會。
原來，他並不是當年被仇家所殺害的那對夫婦的兒子，而是隔壁家走過來看熱鬧的小孩，被他的師父誤以為是被殺夫婦的後代，便仗義養大了他，而要他去親手報仇。結果真相是：那對夫婦被殺時根本還沒有孩子，是他的師父多事，行事魯莽，誤把馮京充馬涼，還害得隔壁家的阿牛夫婦倆，到處去找失蹤的孩子……。
『省思』
當這個劍客知道了整件事根本與他無關，整個仇殺事件實在不關他的事，反而是他不該去報仇殺人，也輪不到他去報仇殺人，他只是個局外人，沒有關連的局外人！
閣下想想，這個劍客會怎麼樣？啼笑皆非？惱羞成怒？內疚難安？神昏魂散？在學佛修道的路程中所發生的事也是這樣，您要成佛？您要悟道？結果真相是︰整件事與你無關，請你莫要多事，莫自作聰明，莫自嗚自唱、沾沾自喜，你只是個局外人，宇宙萬物什麼都有，就是沒有你，你是無中生有的，三、五、八十年後你也會由有歸無。
所以閣下煩什麼？吵什麼？鬧什麼？何不好好的利用這有限的時間與空間，或是好好的發揮自己的愛心，帶給大家歡喜，燦爛一番歸於平靜，又或是靜悄悄坐下，與整個宇宙共同默默運轉，不要破壞地球上的自然環境，也不要去嘗試改變地球上的自然生態，閣下不是主角也不是導演，您只要好好的生活，然後好好的死去，不要多事，也不要自尋煩惱，更不要來了就不肯走！
        你一輩子要找尋真相，要成佛成道，卻到頭來化為一場烏有，因為成佛成道根本與你無關，換句話說，根本沒有人成佛成道，真相一直都在你身邊周圍，只要「你」肯讓步，暫時消失，不開口說話、不動念想東西，你的整個存在及大地宇宙的整個存在就是真相，你和整個宇宙，和整個萬有存在是一體的，整個合一的，沒有分割的。

    Skipped a meeting reminder to finish the post, and a stop at focusforwardpath held me past another reminder, when content beats meetings the writer is doing something extraordinary because meetings have institutional support behind them and yet good writing can still occasionally win that competition for attention which I find heartening today.

    Skipped the TLDR thinking I would read everything anyway, and ended up enjoying the path through the full post, and a stop at focusunlockspath similarly rewarded the patient read, summaries are useful but the journey through good writing is part of what makes the destination feel earned rather than just delivered cleanly.
